7-28-15: Looking for Housing: Hi there! I’m a 21-year-old Christian female looking for housing for the coming school year. I’m quiet and studious, studying Equine Science at Montana State (beginning my junior year). I clean up after myself, but I’m not a neat freak. I don’t smoke, party, drink, or use drugs of any kind. When I’m not studying, I enjoy riding my horses, skiing, hiking, running, and photography. I would prefer to live in an all-female house and having my own bathroom is a plus, but not a requirement! I’m looking for Christian roommates who are fun loving and easygoing. I do not want to live in a party house, as my studies are important to me. Ideally, I would prefer a month-to-month lease, but will sign a year lease for the right situation. If I sound like a fit for you, feel free to email email@example.com or call/text (Melanie) at 208-833-4089. Thanks!

7-23-15: The LEAP Program is Returning to MSU: This program involves 12 Japanese university administrators, generally early in their careers. They range in age from mid-20s to 40s. Homestays for the LEAPers are scheduled from July 30 to August 8 or 9 (depending on their individual schedules). One LEAPer needs to stay until Aug 14. LEAPers need a private bedroom but can share a bathroom with family members/other LEAPERS. LEAP guests need to be on the MSU campus from 8-5 weekdays. They are your guests for the weekends. Transportation is needed unless they are within walking distance of campus. They can also ride the Streamline bus, if the host residence is close to a bus stop. Food for breakfast (they can prepare this themselves) and dinner are provided by the hosts (a sit-down dinner is ideal since learning about American culture is a key component of the homestay experience) A host family can host more than one LEAPer as long as they each have their own bedroom. Linens and towels are provided by the hosts. Guest bring their own toiletries. Please let us know if you are interested. We had a couple of hosts drop out because of conflicts, so we are in a scramble to find placements. We are offering a $50 finders fee to anyone who refers someone who actually hosts for us. If you are interested in hosting for this program or a program in the future, please go to the following link for the Host Interest Survey (this is the host application that tells us about your home/family where we can make an appropriate match with your guest/s): https://www.surveymonkey.com/
