3-15-17: Respite for Adult with Autism: I am the mom to a 20 y.o. with autism and I am looking for someone to spend time with him on Saturdays for about 4-5 hours. The duties would include taking him to the Ridge for possible workout and pool time, McDonalds, parks, hiking any fun activities. Part of the day would be spent doing these activities and part of the time would simply being in my home providing respite for him while I am gone. The pay is $10.63 per hour along with mileage. Items can be dropped off in the storage bin in front of the school beginning Monday March 6. You can also pick up a tax deduction receipt from the school office. Petra Academy’s stage production, adapted by Christopher Sergel, follows the Smith family as they prepare for the opening of the 1904 World’s Fair in their hometown. The production, directed by Eli Denison, will be held at the Petra performance hall at 4720 Classical Way. Tickets are available for purchase at the Petra Academy front office or online at http://www.petraacademy.com
